A few weeks before the final completion of the construction project at Ameisgasse 28 in Vienna’s 14th district, an inspection tour was organised for all interested employees. After our group arrived, a brief presentation of the project was given and the key dates were summarised. The tour began in the inner courtyard, where our project manager explained various design and construction topics, before we climbed the stairs to the garage with the site manager. Here the painting and numbering of the bays had already been completed. The next step is the installation of the bike room partition and the hanging bike racks. The tour then continued up the ramp to the street where we walked past the main entrance and up the stairs to each floor. We visited one flat per floor and discussed interesting topics and answered various questions. With the project now in its final stages, next week the tiles will be laid in the general areas and the railings for the planters in the pergola will be installed. The plant troughs for the beds on the roof terrace are also ready, so landscaping can begin soon. The weather didn’t allow us to stay on the roof terrace for very long, so we finished our tour after visiting the large open areas on the roofs.
The event was another excellent opportunity for our staff to explore and share ideas on the various aspects of the construction project.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Project Manager and Site Manager for this enlightening tour. We look forward to the next tour together!
