Once a year, WGA ZT GmbH organises an architectural trip to a wide variety of destinations in order to expand our specialist knowledge. On 26.10.2022 – 30.10.2022, some of our employees were travelling to one of the most liveable cities in the world – the Danish capital Copenhagen.
Together, our WGA team explored the historical buildings and modern architecture of Copenhagen. Among other things, we explored the city’s sights such as the Royal Library, Christiansborg, and the Little Mermaid as Copenhagen’s landmark. A guided tour took us through the new district of Nørrebro. The former working district of Nørrebro is now much more a lively, colourful and multicultural area. Another highlight on our trip was the visit to the centrally located Axel Towers. The Axel Towers are the new landmark of Copenhagen and consist of five round towers of different heights grouped together. Another highlight of our trip was an excursion to the CopenHill dry ski area. The dry ski slope was put into operation on the roof of a waste-to-energy plant. This and many other unique experiences will remain forever.
