The completion of the general renovation of the Canisianum is getting closer. The student units inside the building will be finished soon. While the flooring is being done and the doors are being installed on the first floor, the last parquet floors on the 3rd floor are being sanded and oiled. On the 2nd floor and the 1st floor, the last painting works and joint completions are taking place. At the same time, the last finishing companies are completing the interior design and building services on the mezzanine floor. In the corridors of the 1st floor in the middle and south wing, the restorer has uncovered the stencil painting of the construction period in some points. On the basis of these uncovered windows, it was possible to create a stencil to complete this painting on both sides of the corridor. Great progress can also be seen in the outdoor facilities, such as the gravel areas in the east and west courtyards for the parking lots. In addition, all clearing has been done, so that the first plants in the east courtyard could already be planted.
