WGA ZT GmbH has been nominated for the Green BIM Award 2023 with its project Steubenstrasse 161-194 in Langen in the category “Applied: Planning of Building and Civil Engineering”.
In the Hessian town of Langen, 106 new apartments are being built for the Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA) using an innovative timber frame construction method in an existing housing estate. The new building comprises four apartment blocks and four semi-detached houses. In terms of sustainability, the building structure is recyclable and can be extended, adapted, deconstructed, or reused in a completely different form. WGA ZT GmbH is the general planner for the project and is taking advantage of the benefits of the construction method to create high-quality, functional buildings for future users. With a focus on sustainable construction, WGA ZT GmbH uses BIM from the start of the design process. The advantages of BIM models support the development of sustainable solutions at an early planning stage.
Thank you in advance for your support in the public vote!
