In our role as an innovative architectural practice, we are actively committed to sustainable construction techniques and concepts that not only meet today’s standards for modern living and learning spaces, but also have a positive impact on our environment. An excellent example of our commitment is the new construction of the Hildesheim School Biology Centre. This centre provides a modern educational environment that not only provides students and teachers with the necessary skills, but also promotes awareness of the environment and biodiversity.
We guarantee not only an environmentally friendly construction technique, thanks to the use of sustainable modular timber construction, but also a high degree of flexibility and adaptability of the spaces to meet the dynamic educational challenges.
Another example of our sustainable architecture is the planned residential complex at Tschaikowskistraße 14 in Pankow-Niederschönhausen. At this site, we are developing a modular housing complex based on the cradle-to-cradle principle to meet the growing demand for housing in the region. This concept facilitates resource-efficient construction by selecting materials that can be returned to the biological or technical cycle at the end of their useful life.
Another focus of our work is the renovation of Schwarzenbek Primary School and the relocation of the current youth centre. For this project, we are incorporating the regional construction technique of pitched roofs into our concept. Thanks to the serial construction, we are achieving a fast, quiet and clean construction process, which is also environmentally friendly. All building components are designed to be disassembled, separated and recycled according to the cradle-to-cradle principle, significantly reducing the environmental footprint of our construction projects.
