A new office building for the IT service provider Horn & Görwitz is to be constructed in the Kleinmachnow industrial estate, on the south-western edge of Berlin. The new location is conveniently situated and offers modern office space for a good and contemporary cooperation of future employees.
The concept was developed based on the Lukas Lang modular system, which consists of industrially prefabricated elements that can be assembled in different ways to create individual, turnkey buildings. This construction system allows a high degree of flexibility and adaptability in every phase of use of the buildings. The standardised and industrially produced building components are assembled directly at the construction site. The highly engineered system construction is already shown in the outer façade of the building.
The new premises of the building are spread over a total of three floors and create a positive working atmosphere thanks to the clear and open office design. Large window areas open the building to the outside and ensure transparency at the workplace. During planning, great importance was attached to a pleasant indoor climate, which is why wood was chosen as the building material for the interior design.
In addition to the offices, the building also has spacious storage rooms, assembly areas as well as exhibition and sales areas. With the installation of high-bay storage, the storage space can be used efficiently. Numerous employee parking spaces guarantee parking directly in front of the office building.
