At Rathstrasse 15 in Vienna’s 19th district, a new residential building with a total of nine units and an underground car park is being constructed. The picturesque surroundings, close to the border of Lower Austria and the Vienna Woods with its vineyards and forests, are ideal for relaxing walks and outdoor sports activities.
The four-storey building has a barrier-free entrance directly accessible from Rathstrasse. The forecourt also includes the necessary areas for the garage and the rubbish room, which are located on the ground floor, along with a bicycle and pram room.
The upper floors offer a variety of spatial situations thanks to cantilevered elements that blend into the facades to create a uniform, elegant appearance.
All units have outdoor space in the form of a terrace, private garden or balcony. In addition, large windows create a link between the inside and outside. The glazed balustrades are important design elements that also give the building an open character.
The facades are predominantly rendered, while the roofs and space defining superstructures are clad in aluminium.
