On Wednesday, the 22.03.2023, we celebrated the topping-out ceremony of the future Alfons Maria Senior Citizens’ Centre in Gablitz. The building owner from Germany, our mayor of Gablitz, sisters from the St. Barbara convent, and numerous construction site workers were present to celebrate the final completion of the building’s shell. The nursing home will become one of the largest employers in the village and the project was very positively welcomed among the residents of the village.
Everyone was in a good mood throughout and the temperature rose to over 20 degrees. The ceremonial speeches and the catering that followed took place in the seminar room of the future nursing home. The event room was successfully opened. Those interested also had the opportunity to take part in the building tours, which gave them a very good impression of the rooms and their functions.
The key data: The construction started in June 2022. The building shell will be completed at the beginning of February 2023. The finishing work is expected to be completed in October, so that the building can be properly handed over to the client at the beginning of 2024.
