We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our project at the main campus of the University of Augsburg. A modern laboratory building with an office section was built on a previously rarely frequented car park using sustainable modular construction techniques. The outdoor facilities are currently under construction in order to optimise the outdoor area and to create an inspiring environment for students and researchers.
Providing a total effective area of approximately 1,250 m², the building accommodates four biological-physical S2 laboratories as well as an office block for three professorships. In addition, functional rooms, adjoining usable areas and technical areas were integrated to ensure maximum use of the facilities. The versatile roof and vertical greening of the façades provide the building with a distinctive and appealing design.
This project is part of the modular construction campaign as part of the high-tech agenda and constitutes a significant milestone in strengthening the research infrastructure available in this region.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the project for their contributions of expertise, commitment and creativity. By working collaboratively, we are shaping the future of research and are establishing sustainable spaces for innovation and networking.
