Last Friday, our culinary journey took us to Spain and Latin America. Our previous culinary journey was through Austria and our first trip took us to Bulgaria.
There were lots of delicious dishes to discover, such as arepas, empanadas, or tortillas with different fillings, a variety of sandwiches and salads (including Russian salad), and a delicious black bean stew (feijoada brasileira). Spanish almond cake, alfajores filled with dulce de leche and dulce de batata as well as dulce de membrillo awaited us as dessert. It was another wonderful opportunity to chat with each other, exchange recipes, and discuss good food together.
Well-nourished, we started the weekend and are already looking forward to next month, when we start the gill season again.
