Last Friday, WGA Deutschland GmbH said SHIP AHOI!
As part of the office getaway, the WGA took the boat Helena from spreeboote to explore new shores.
After a professional and detailed introduction to the navigation by spreeboote, it was time to cast off and we started out in the Rummelsburg Bay. Following a short training session, we made our way across the Spree to the Großer Müggelsee. At a speed of 12km/h, we were able to take a closer look at the architecture on the shore. And after arriving at the Müggelsee, we headed to the lake’s center to grasp the immensity of the lake. It’s unbelievable how big the lake is in the vicinity of Berlin.
Back via the Teltow canal, we arrived again on time and safely at the bay called “Rummelsburger Bucht” in the evening, where the restaurant Hafenküche indulged us with delicious food and great refreshments.
It was a wonderful day of exploring a lot of new places!
